Best Bikini Body Tips & Tricks
As the season changes from winter to spring and spring to summer, pool time, beach vacations, and spending time in your bikini are sure to be fun! However, feeling comfortable in your own skin is probably the most important aspect of this season.
Everyone wants to stay fit and keep things healthy, but what are the best ways to do so? I have compiled the top three tricks to ensure your body is in top shape for your favorite bikini. Some of these tips come from personal experience, while the others are from celebrity trainers and my favorite exercises from Popsugar fitness.
Most Rewarding Exercises:
-
Although this may be a step out of one’s comfort zone, hot vinyasa yoga is one of the best exercises. The insane amount of sweat that the body produces during this workout aids in detoxing your body. The benefits that come from meditation are also key to feeling and looking your best. These include: relieving stress and slowing down the mind. The strength training that comes along with yoga, burns calories and tightens muscles. Those firm muscles will help create a toned bikini body look. Google the nearest yoga studios to find reasonably priced packages!

Cardio intervals are another one of the fastest, most impactful ways to lose those few extra pounds. Alternate between a fast sprint and a normal paced jog: one-minute sprint, followed by a three-minute jog (repeat 5 times). For a more advanced workout, increase the sprint by 1.0 and set the incline at 3.0, while repeating this same workout 6 times. Good luck!
Best Recipes & Nutrition Tips For Staying In Shape:
-
Foods to eliminate: Refined grains and added sugars are the worst for the body when it comes to getting ready for the warm weather. Some foods to avoid include candy, cake, soda, pasta, and white breads.
-
H20: If you are dehydrated, your body’s ability to burn fat is tremendously slowed down. It is recommended to drink eight to ten 8-oz glasses of water per day, increasing this amount during days with intense workouts. However, green tea can also help increase metabolism and is sure to help work off those few extra calories consumed throughout the day.
-
Detox Salad: “The Mean Green Detox Salad” includes kale, broccoli, and grapefruit: all of which boost metabolism and help keep the body full. The recipe is below!
Foods to purchase:
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
