Warmer weather is approaching and we all know the best way to cool off is with a quenching refreshment. The more relaxed vibe of summer calls for a drink that will allow you to kick back, enjoy conversation with your friends, and enjoy happy hour. The current trend of “Rosé all day” doesn’t exist for no reason…it’s the best drink for the summer and here is why.
It’s inexpensive.
What’s great about Rosé is that it isn’t going to make a huge dent in your bank account. You can purchase entire bottles for $15! Even at restaurants, you will find that it is the cheapest wine. Since Rosé doesn’t get better with age like other wines, you won’t need to spend extra money for the highest quality Rosé. At the end of the day, you will spend less money and you won’t have to wait to drink it for maximum flavor!
The satiable taste.
Most people associate Rosé’s flavor with a sweet dryness. However, this is susceptible to change depending in which region you buy the Rosé from. In Europe, it will usually be drier but in different regions it will be less dry. Regardless, its freshness doesn’t contain all of the extra sugars you may find in a white or red wine, another added benefit. It’s also been noted that Rosé from Provence is the best.
It can be used to make other drinks.
While Rosé is delicious alone, it can be combined with other ingredients to make cocktails that are refreshing and light. The fizziness of Rosé pairs well with a variety of flavors.
Pairs well with food!
Having a drink is great, but being able to have a drink with a meal is even better. Rosé’s subtle, sweet flavor is a versatile competitor amongst white and red wines. It is not as intense as, and therefore compliments the flavor of food instead of masks it.
Rosé has become somewhat of a campaign and it is no surprise as to why its popularity soars during the summer season. Unwind with the perfect drink after a long day at work without the bitter flavor or costly price. It’s no wonder they say “Rosé all day”.
