Are Mondays really a downer or do you just tell yourself that because everyone else does? I believe you should treat Monday just like any other day. Be thankful for every day you get to go out and do what you love. Put a smile on your face and concur every Monday like it’s Friday. If you think positive you will be positive. Below are several ways I concur my Mondays with my best foot forward and a big smile on my face.
But First Coffee
There is nothing worse then waking up late on a Monday morning and rushing to get ready. Give yourself enough time to enjoy a healthy breakfast and a nice cup of coffee. Don’t get me wrong I might need more than one cup on Mondays to help me get past those Monday blues but there is no better way to start your day than with a warm cup of coffee.
It’s All About What You Wear
Even on my laziest of days I wake up and dress to impress because what better way to make yourself feel better than wearing your favorite outfit to bust your confidence. Plan out your outfits in advance so you don’t have to wake up even earlier to figure out what to wear. Just think if you leave the house wearing leggings, a t-shirt and some slippers of course you’re going to have a dreadful Monday and feel tired.
Do Something You Enjoy
Why start your day off already ready for it to end when you can have something to look forward to. I try and plan something fun and entertaining into my Monday schedule so I have something to look forward to. It can be something as small as eating your favorite meal for dinner or going out and doing something you enjoy.
It may sound silly but a little positivity can go a long way. When your alarm goes off in the morning instead of hitting snooze and rolling over and going back to sleep jump out of bed and get your day started. Put a smile on your face and keep it there all day. I’ve always said it takes more energy to be mean than to be nice. You could make someones day by simply smiling at them. Be the person that gives everyone else a reason to have a good day even if it is Monday.
Mondays don’t have to be all that bad. They are what you make of them so turn that frown upside down and conquer each Monday like it’s your last. Be thankful for everyday you get to wake up and go out and do what you love. We would love to here how you survive your Mondays. Comment below.
